    glassblowing-for-beginners-tacoma

2019 will bring changes to our 4 Week Classes

Instead of: Beginning 1, Beginning 2, Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2. With 6 students max.

We will offer Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced still 4 weeks with 6 students max.

The goal of our 4 week classes will be to get students skilled enough to work independently. Once a student has taken a series of classes and tests, they can then rent studio time.

Long pants and a light long sleeve t-shirt are recommended, closed toe shoes are required. Long hair needs to be pulled back.

No make-up sessions are available for beginning glassblowing classes. Please make sure you can attend all 4 sessions.

    4 Week Restrictions

Student must be able to squat and rise easily.

Student must be able to lift and work with at least 20 pounds of weight.

Student must have a strong enough lung capacity to blow forcefully in a standing and squatting position.

Student must be able to work with others and follow instructions.
